Comments:

This gem has a perfect bi-color split down the middle. Because of the elongated princess cut and the balance of yellow and purple hues in the gem, a gorgeous pink color is seen.  This pink hue is not common in Ametrines, unless they are expertly faceted. The gem's saturation of color is excellent, and the clarity is superb. This stone was faceted by Allyce Kosnar.

Comments:

A gorgeous red color Suntone gem with obvious metallic "Shiller" which is a shimmer in the stones caused by micro Copper inclusions.  This effect is highly sought after by dealers and collectors alike.  There is also a hint of blue in this stone which is in my experience, the most uncommon and desirable color to find in this material. Good Sunstone gem rough has become harder to obtain over recent years. This stone was faceted by Allyce Kosnar.

Comments:

Here is a dazzling Heliodor gemstone from our shop.  The Heliodors from Volodarsk-Volynskii are some of the most beloved and classic Beryls extant.  Good gem material is scarce due to the fact that this locality has not produced any good specimens in years.  There is a small yet notable "Horse Hair" inclusion in this stone that is indicative of the Heliodors from the Ukraine. The square brilliant cut on this stone which works especially well on the Beryl varieties was designed by Brett Kosnar. The stone itself was faceted by Allyce Kosnar.

A great novelty cut for a gemstone. This fine peach color Fire Opal features an eye-catching Spider Round cut. Opals are some of the most diverse gems in the world.  The majority of Fire Opals from Mexico are typically a solid color, but a small percentage show a highly desirable color flash.  This gem shows beautiful flashes of blue, green, red and orange throughout the stone. The gem is loaded with color which can be seen in every direction. This stone was faceted by Allyce Kosnar.

Comments:

Here is a rarely seen gemmy blue Opal from Peru.  The high translucency of the stone is rare in my experience as the majority of this material is opaque in clarity. I backlit the stone in one of the photos in order to show off the gemminess.  Gemmy solid blue Opals are rather uncommon in the world, and the material from Peru is certainly among the best.  This stone was faceted by Allyce Kosnar.
