An attractive display specimen of Augelite featuring a few sharp, translucent, whitish color, somewhat blocky monoclinic crystals which are associated with small white, prismatic Quartz crystals and very rarely seen pale chartreuse-green Chlorargyrite on matrix. This is one of the very few specimens of Augelite with Chlorargyrite that I have seen from Machacamarca and the color contrast makes for a pleasing specimen, as many of the Augelites from this mine are not terribly colorful. If you’re a Bolivian mineral collector, or a species/association collector, I’ll bet that you don’t have an Augelite with Chlorargyrite in your collection.
