An aesthetic and fairly thick (for the locality) wire specimen of native Silver from the famous Porco Mine. A pair of eye-catching, twisting, striated, elongated wires are intergrown to create a three-dimensional small cabinet display specimen. Wires of this thickness and quality with such great visual appeal are few and far between from Porco.

If you’re a Bolivian mineral collector, or a collector of native elements, this excellent specimen would make a perfect addition to your collection. Porco is THE oldest and most significant Silver mine in Bolivia, and obtaining specimens is next to impossible because miners rarely bring out anything for sale, as the mine is a large commercial production and virtually everything goes into the crusher. Most everything that evades the crusher is usually taken out of Bolivia by a geologist who has an "in" at the mine. This is why it is so difficult to obtain any good Silvers from Porco, so don't miss out. Considering the higher prices on the new Chinese wire Silvers, this is a great opportunity for somebody to purchase an aesthetic wire specimen for a good price.
