Here is a great old locality specimen of Vivianite from the Siglo XX mine in Bolivia. Subscribers to the Mineralogical Record know that an entire issue was dedicated to this unique and historic locality.
This small cabinet size piece features a few beautiful, relatively sharp, gemmy, blue green color, prismatic crystals of Vivianite (some are actually doubly terminated!) associated with botryoidal Wavellite which is coated/replaced by Limonite. This material is rarely seen in today's market and this particular specimen is at least 35 years old. A great aesthetic display specimen of this well-known phosphate from a world-famous locality
