This piece was collected in 2000, when Huanuni had a short, but prosperous boom of specimens. I personally obtained this piece at the mine on one of my first trips to Bolivia. I kept it as a memento of those early years visiting Bolivia, but it’s time for it to find a new home.
A very sharp, GEM quality, rather lustrous, rich emerald green, thin, prismatic crystal with a beautiful termination. Great quality all the way around, and certainly better quality than a lot of Vivianites from this mine from the standpoint of gemminess and color.
