Brookite with Quartz ("floater" specimen)

An aesthetic thumbnail specimen of these gorgeous Pakistani Brookites featuring a pair of very sharp, lustrous, thin bladed crystals with a rich fiery golden-orange hue associated with WATER CLEAR Quartz crystals free of matrix. The largest Brookite measures 1.2 cm long. The piece was difficult to photograph, but all of the Brookite crystals are actually doubly terminated and, as far as I can tell, the piece seems to be crystallized all the way around, so I'm calling it a complete "floater". I love the patterning of the black "phantoms" inside the Brookite crystals, which gives the piece great character.
