Brookite

A striking isolated, somewhat broad "sword"-shaped crystal of Brookite measuring 1.1 cm sitting nicely on the underlying host rock matrix. The Brookite shows a deep golden-orange hue when backlit, with a thin internal black "phantom" running from the point of the termination to the base of the crystal. There are a couple prismatic colorless Quartz crystal on each side of the Brookite, framing the piece nicely. No damage and incredibly eye-catching.
