A highly aesthetic and three-dimensional display specimen of Pyrite with a brilliant metallic luster and excellent crystallization. The piece was rather difficult to photograph, but as you can see from the photos, it has wonderfully well-formed pyritohedra of Pyrite with soft striations and sharp faces. The predominant crystal at the top of the piece gives way to branching groups of smaller pyritohedra flaring out in different directions. The piece is in great shape overall, and despite a few contacts, is very displayable from several angles. Better in person, a great Pyrite from this lesser-known locality in Bulgaria.
