Quartz with Epidote

From the famous replacement ore body in the Camp Bird Mine, we have seen some of the most interesting, crystallized specimens from anywhere in the San Juans. This particular piece features dozens of bright, WATER-clear, rather lustrous, colorless hexagonal prisms of Quartz included with rarely seen beautiful pistachio green Epidote “needles”. Top quality Quartz crystals, and certainly hard to find on the market these days. No real damage to speak of on the piece.
