Gold in Quartz with sulfides (matched set)

How often does one encounter such an interesting example of Gold from this world-famous locality? This piece was collected by Joe Mattivi in the 1980s. This matched set of sawn specimens features corresponding spots of bright metallic “Cloud Gold” that are mixed in deep green to black Sphalerite and white Quartz matrix. They make for a cool pair of “bookends”.
