Hematite pseudomorphs after Siderite with Goethite and Quartz (var: Smoky)

This is a great specimen from one of the most storied and well-known districts in Colorado. This particular specimen is a great display piece a featuring several excellent quality metallic grey pseudomorphs of Hematite after rhombic Siderite measuring up to nearly one inch(1) which is accented by a beautiful golden-black “spray” of Goethite flaring out of the top of the specimen with associated Smoky Quartz. This specimen was collected over 30 years ago in August of 1980. Don't miss out on this great Colorado classic.
