Microcline (var: Amazonite)

A pair of sharp, well-formed, medium rich blue-green colored crystals of Amazonite with slight "white cap" terminations. The left edge has a contact, but the color and form make it a worthwhile thumbnail of this classic material. From the collection of Willard W. Wulff (1904-1998) of Colorado Springs, Colorado, a prominent figure and collector of Colorado minerals. Wulff was one of the founding members of the Colorado Springs Mineralogical Society in 1936.
