A beautiful full-sized thumbnail specimen featuring a fantastic, complete, well-formed, rich blue-green colored prismatic Amazonite crystal beautifully flaring off of cream-colored Feldspar matrix. There are a couple smaller "sidecar" crystals of Amazonite on the reverse side of the piece. No damage, except for the bottom edge where the piece was removed from the pocket wall. From the collection of Willard Wulff (specimen #371). Willard (1904-1998) of Colorado Springs, Colorado was a prominent figure and collector of Colorado minerals. He was one of the founding members of the Colorado Springs Mineralogical Society in 1936. You can read Willard's bio on the Mineralogical Record website.
