One of the most unusual Prehnites I have seen from any locality. At first glance, one might think that these are "casts" or epimorphs after another species, as Prehnite has been known to do, but upon close inspection you can see that these are completely solid inside and are basically Prehnite stalactites or non-epimorphic "fingers". Some of these "fingers" are broken and show a radial growth pattern in the center. Really strange for the species. I have only seen a handful of these specimens on the market, and nothing new for many years. This particular piece, despite the larger size, does have some contacts here and there, hence the reduced priced.
