A wonderful, doubly terminated, polychrome Tourmaline crystal with Albite from the most famous Tourmaline locality in Pakistan. I have seen many Tourmaline specimens from Stak Nala for many years and the one characteristic that many of them lacked was decent color.

The crystal on this specimen features several colors ranging from a light pink shade at the end of the pyramidal termination, which gives way to a very dark green (nearly black) zone, which grades into a beautiful yellow-green color that gives way to an olive-green color, with a slight colorless "Achroite" basal termination on the other end. A beautiful white “flower”-shaped group of Albite (var: “Cleavelandite”) makes for a wonderful accent to this eye-catching large thumbnail / small toenail sized display specimen. The piece is technically a “floater” since I can’t see a point of attachment where it came off matrix. Found in 2002, it is a really cool example of what makes Stak Nala Tourmalines so popular.
