Spodumene (var: Kunzite)

No ordinary gem Spodumene, but an exceptional, large, doubly terminated, “floater” bi-color TWIN! The piece is crystallized all the way around, with minor etching near the bottom edge, the twin line is distinct and sharp, and the crystal has maintained that classic “Roman sword” appearance. The tiny, graceful hydrothermal etching patterns, mixed with the WATER-CLEAR gemminess, and soft green and gentle pink hues throughout the crystal, create a unique and stunning large cabinet display specimen.

This piece really does have it all, and how often do you see an 8+ inch bi-color “floater” crystal like this for such a reasonable price? Most of the bi-color specimens I’ve seen on the market do not compare favorably to this one and are 3-4 times as much money! As you can see, the photos are good, but the piece is even better in person. Do not pass this one up, it’s superb for what it is, especially in this price range.
