A lovely miniature specimen of Vanadinite. A handful of sharp, lustrous, rich orange-red color, tabular hexagonal crystals of Vanadinite, measuring up to 5 mm, sit aesthetically on the underlying matrix. My favorite aspect of the piece is the main group of crystals at the top which have intergrown to form a beautiful "flower"-like cluster and almost resembles an octagonal shape like a stop sign. It's good quality and virtually undamaged. These specimens are common on the market, but they remain the standard of quality for the species and should not be disregarded due to their abundance.
