Cerussite (GEMMY “snowflake" twin)

When it comes to mineral localities, Tsumeb stands as the king for collectors. The amazing diversity and plethora of species is staggering and remains the number one destination for a lot of collectors in the hobby.

Here we have a fine example of reticulated Cerussite with good-sized, well-developed crystals. This "snowflake"-shaped group is not only well-formed but shows excellent internal gemminess ranging from GEM quality transparent to gemmy / translucent. Additionally, the color ranges from a classic colorless hue reminiscent of gem quality Diamonds(!) in the interior to a smoky hue, not unlike Smoky Quartz. Although it’s not perfect, there is VERY LITTLE DAMAGE, and it is still totally complete on the front and back. It seems that the value of Tsumeb specimens rises daily in this market, so grab this piece while you can. Gem quality twinned "snowflakes" of Cerussite are always in demand.
