Chrysoberyl

Some of the most classic Chrysoberyl specimens in the world are those from the small state Espirito Santo in southeastern Brazil. These specimens exhibit some of the most recognized and celebrated crystal habits for the species extant.

Here we have an excellent specimen of Chrysoberyl exhibiting fine, sharp, lustrous faces with a beautiful, gemmy yellow-green interior. The piece is nearly crystallized all around, so it's almost a complete "floater".
