A classic Topaz specimen from the famous Thomas Range in Utah. Aside from Red Beryl, this is arguably the most sought after and recognizable mineral from the area.
This thumbnail sized piece features an excellent, GEM quality, sharp, highly lustrous, very well-formed, sherry colored Topaz with minor attached Rhyolite at the base. The crystal has classic pyramidal modifications along the termination, creating a beautiful form. A fine quality, beautiful piece of this classic material from the western United States. The piece is from the collection of Senator / Dr. Miguel Romero of Teuhuacan, Mexico (Collection #4853).
