Quartz with Hematite Inclusions

A highly attractive Strawberry Quartz "Shield" cut gem containing bright reddish-orange, inclusions of Hematite floating inside of it. Hematite can form in slender, acicular or "needle-like", bright red crystals (typically as inclusions inside of Quartz), but it's rarely seen from Madagascar. The distinguishing factor for these stones that separates the good from the great is the color of the inclusions. Typically, the inclusions are a brownish color and not BRIGHT like the inclusions in this stone. If you're in the market for something unique and different, you won't be disappointed with this one!
