A beautiful, virtually eye-clean Tourmaline gem with a lovely pinkish-orange color and slight peach highlights depending upon the angle at which the stone is viewed. It is considered rare for Tourmaline from any locality to produce orange-colored stones and this one is similar to the ever popular and highly sought after "Padparachsda" Sapphire gems, which can retail for high numbers.

Tourmaline is classified as a "Type-3" gemstone (same category as Emerald) which means that clean stones are incredibly rare to find. So, when you have a good-sized gem such as this, combined with the rare color and the superior clarity, it makes for a special stone.
