Tourmaline (Bicolor cat’s eye)

A gorgeous richly bi-colored stone from Brazil featuring a mix of lovely pink and orange tones. The stone shows different colors in different lighting as it will appear more pink in some lights and more orange in others, but you will see a mix of the two in virtually every kind of light. It's well cut, so it looks very attractive up close and far away. Additionally, there are a handful of small "cat's eye" inclusions that can be seen near the center of the gem, making this a rare bicolor "cat's eye" gem. The fact that it's over 5 carats is a big deal, as it is becoming very difficult to find clean or nearly clean gems in this size on the market now.
