A beautiful structural group of radiating "balls" of this attractive material from Mamuju. Individual spheres measure up to 6 mm across which is larger than the majority we’ve seen on other specimens. I like the way that they increase in size from the bottom of the specimen to the top corner. The color is a medium purple with a soft matte luster, but a few spots have a slight sparkling drusy appearance. Areas of moss green colored Celadonite can be seen here and there for a pleasing overall two-tone color effect. It’s not completely undamaged, as a few of the spheres are contacted, but for the most part, it’s in great shape, and due to its aesthetic and showy nature, I think the rough spots are forgivable.
