Quartz (var: Chalcedony) / (var:Agate) / ("Grape Chalcedony / Grape Agate")

One of the most, if not THE most luminously lustrous specimens in the lot. The combination of the gorgeous purple color "Grape Chalcedony / Grape Agate" combined with the exterior shimmer is amazing. Additionally, there are dozens if not hundreds of "rice grain" to "sheaf"-like shaped crystals of micro white gemmy Quartz on both sides the piece, which look beautiful with a loupe and even better under the microscope. No damage on either side, and the only real point of attachment that I can see is a small "rib" on the edge where it must have been removed from the pocket. Perhaps my favorite aspect of the piece is the way it glows when it’s backlit, which is typically not possible due to the thickness of the other specimens. FINE quality, color, luster and very showy! This is one of my favorite specimens in the lot as it covers all the best characteristics of what makes these pieces great.
