Shimmering, rather vitreous luster combined with the beautiful violet-colored spherical aggregates make this beautiful variety of Quartz from Indonesia a very pleasing overall specimen. This is why the material gets the nickname "Grape Chalcedony" or "Grape Agate". This piece really does resemble a bunch of grapes, as the isolation between each "ball" is noteworthy compared to others from the find. It’s crystallized all the way around and is as close to a "floater" as anything we have in the lot. Great quality for this material, especially with the wonderful luster taken into consideration.
