Quartz (var: Chalcedony) / (var:Agate) / ("Grape Chalcedony / Grape Agate")

A sculptural and all-around pretty piece of this attractive Chalcedony from Indonesia. The piece formed in a somewhat arborescent form as it has the shape of a shrub or a small tree in my mind. Beautiful medium purple colored "balls" of Chalcedony forming a lovely display specimen. The luster is good compared to most as it has a soft velvety appearance. Additionally, there are only a few tiny contacts, but no real damage that I can see with the naked eye, and the piece displays well from either side. If you’re looking for quality and displayability that won’t break the bank, this is a very worthwhile pickup for your collection.
